About the Embassy of India in Sofia

The Embassy of India in Sofia is accredited to the Republic of Bulgaria and has concurrent accreditation to the Republic of North Macedonia.

India’s relations with Bulgaria and North Macedonia are longstanding, warm and friendly.


India’s diplomatic relations with Republic of Bulgaria were established on 22 December 1954.

At present the Embassy of India is located at the Alfred Noble Street in the Geo-Milev area of Sofia.
